Słowackiego 64
Designed and built for HERBEWO factory before World War 2, the building, which boasts an elegant façade, has been ever since a landmark in Krakow. It was revitalized first for a department store in late 1990s and finally for a modern office building with numerous retail and service spaces on the ground floor.
The Herbewo Office Centre was designed and built with unique, three-level green rooftop terraces (with a surface of more than 400 m2), decorated with compositions of permanent and seasonal plants. The top viewing platform offers a splendid view of Old Krakow and the Tatra Mountains far in the distance. From early spring to late autumn the flowery terraces provide a marvellous setting for open-air business meetings, as well as entertainment and team-building events, which remain in their participants’ fond memories for a long time.
